Ecological Modelling
From predicting habitat suitability and species distributions to understanding how food webs are structured and function, at BioGeo we employ ecological modelling techniques that range in complexity and scale.
Our specialties include habitat suitability models, niche modeling, weighted overlay analysis, food webs and trophodynamic (using biomarkers e.g. stable isotopes), isoscapes (spatially explicit predictions of elemental isotopes), and habitat connectivity for wildlife. We also provide support in uni and multivariate statistics, distance-based modelling, and meta-analysis.
